An old man named Andersen

 told us a story (about)

a little girl (who) struck 

a match five times.

她梦想着，

有个不平凡的圣诞节

如今，她的梦想

在厦门工学院附属学校实现啦！啦！啦！

She dreamed,

there would be an extraordinary Christmas

Now, her dream (came )  true at The Affiliated School of Xiamen Institute of Technology!

第一根火柴：带来温暖环境

The first match: bring warm environment 

(A warm atmosphere)

 第二个火柴：带来美味的食物

The second match: phenomenally,

tasty delicious food

课堂之外的Brogan和Juliet老师

还都厨艺非凡哩~

Teacher Brogan and Juliet also have excellent cooking skills outside the classroom~

第三根火柴：带来美丽的圣诞树

The third match: bring a beautiful Christmas tree

 第四根火柴：带来家人的陪伴

The fourth match: bring your family.

家委会齐来参与，Ruby妈妈的布丁

和Simon妈妈的春饼大受欢迎。

The Parent’s Committee came to join. 

Ruby’s and Simon's mother brought pudding 

and spring rolls that were popular.

第五根火柴：带来老师的鼓励

The fifth match: embrace teachers guidance 

and unending encouragement.

卖火柴小姑娘的梦想展望结束之后

别急离开

好戏还在后头

中英班师生一展才华

一首首英文歌诠释师生情

一个个瞬间激起情感涟漪

共同书写2019圣诞和新年里

The little match girl's dream ended

Don’t leave so soon

The real fun just started

It’s show time for A-level class talents

Each English song interprets the love between teachers and students

Each moment to stirred up emotional sentiments

Write together the theme of "sharing" and "joy" for Christmas

还会和老师拉二胡，耶！

Not just that I speak English,

 but also play the Erhu with teacher, yeah!

深情演唱，演绎IG班风采

Singing with deep feeling, 

performing IG class elegant demeanor.

演绎不一样的“老师”、“学生”，

哥俩的相声带来会场阵阵欢笑。

不知道那些外教能否听懂这“八级”汉语？

Different interpretation of the "teachers" and "students", the crosstalk of two buddies brought the laughter to the venue. I wonder if foreign teachers can understand “the level of eight” Chinese?

精彩的节目，看，同学们多投入

Awesome program.. 

Look how students happily participated.

除了个人表演

我们一同载歌载舞

沉浸在欢乐的海洋中

Besides individual performances

We sang and danced together

Immersed in a sea of joy

还有华侨大学留学生精彩的歌舞表演，

将整个派对推向高潮

There was also an exciting performance

by overseas students

 from Huaqiao University,

which pushed the whole party to a climax.

欢乐的时光总是短暂，

下一个圣诞我们不见不散

Joyful time is always flying,

We'll be seeing you next Christmas

2019年圣诞节就这么欢乐的结束了。

从此以后，

老师和同学们过上了幸福的期末复习生活~

Christmas 2019 ended with amazing and wonderful experiences. Everyone felt happy and satisfied  during the end of the term~
