01种植的美好,从一米菜地开始
Fun of Gardening, Start with the Vegetable Plots
“宝贝们,你们还记得我们班的菜地吗?”
“当然记得啦~~”
“我们在那儿种过小白菜。”
“我们还把自己种小白菜带回家和爸爸妈妈分享。”
“去年,我们还用菜地里的小白菜煮了火锅~~”
......
这块菜地从宝宝班就开始跟随着孩子们,除草,松土,播种,浇水,所有都由孩子们亲力亲为。四季更换,我们已经在菜地里收获了好多的蔬菜。
The children work on these vegetable plots since they were very young. They weed, loose soil, plant and water all by themselves. They’ve harvested a lot of vegetables through the years.
还记得刚分到菜地的时候,我们带着孩子们看了众多蔬菜的图片,最后孩子们选择了种秋葵。耐心的浇水等待了两周后,其他班的菜地都开始发芽,我们班的菜地还没有动静。
We still remember the first time we got a plot to plant. We provided many pictures of vegetables to the children to decide which to plant. They picked okra. After sowing, they kept watering and two weeks later, we found the other classes’ plots started to sprout, but ours is still nothing.
02探究,躲藏在孩子们的疑问和畅想中
Exploration : Find Out Why
“为什么我们的秋葵没有发芽?”
“我们每天都有浇水啊?”
“我知道了,一定是种子宝宝还在睡觉~~”
孩子们的想法可真奇妙。我们一起查阅资料,才知道秋葵需要在二月播种,我们播种的时间不对,所以种子宝宝们没有办法长大了。孩子们听到后都挺失落的,但仍然愿意接着尝试种植。
Children’s ideas are fabulous. We did the research and found out that the okra didn’t sprout because the sowing time was wrong. It needed to sow in February. The children were disappointed when they knew it, but they were still willing to try again.
一次又一次松土、播种,这一次孩子们选择了种植难度系数比较小的白菜。播种几天后孩子们惊喜地发现一米菜地里冒出了新芽。
After several times of loosing soil and sowing, the children chose to plant pakchoi, which was much easier to plant. Several days later, they were surprised to see them sprouting.
(PS:孩子们除了兴奋之余,仍然会问起那秋葵宝宝呢?They still asked about the okra sometimes.)

白菜渐渐长高了,孩子们又遇到了不一样的难题~~
The children faced some new difficulties with the growing of the pakchoi.
03探究,氤氲在孩子们的发现与思考中
Exploration: Discovering and Thinking
“为什么有的长的高,有的长的矮?”
“矮的白菜没有好好吃饭......”
“我们多给矮的白菜浇点水吧。”
(几天之后,矮的白菜仍然没有长的快一点)
“宝贝们,你们观察一下,高的白菜的旁边和矮的白菜有什么不同?”
“矮的白菜好挤啊~”
“高的白菜家离邻居好远哦~~”
一次次的尝试,孩子们知道播种的时候要让种子宝宝间隔一些的距离,蔬菜会长得更好;也知道不是浇越多的水,蔬菜宝宝就会长得越快。
After many times of trying, they discovered the vegetables would grow better if planted in distance. They also found out the vegetables would not grow faster by watering more.
一园一生态,一草一木皆课程。好开心呀~孩子们在附属园的“一米菜地”松土、播种、浇水......他(她)们是花园农场的“劳动小主人”。
In our gardening class, they children do sowing and watering. They are the little masters of our garden.
