【当烘焙邂逅“英格丽士”】

烘焙是一种西式糕点的制作过程，

这本是一个“吃货”的主场，

但是，

当它遇到“English”时……

它们会怎么样呢？

当然是来一场

“吃货”与“学习者”的完美邂逅，

妈妈再也不用担心我的英语啦！

Baking is a process to make cakes,while English learning is a process to use a language.

What happens when we put Baking with English learning together.

【厨房变身欢乐课堂】

        为了能让同学们快乐学英语，也掌握一些看家本领，国际部中英班的同学们开展了一堂“能吃会说”的烘焙课。

        In order to give students a special English class,with some helpful survival skills,A-level group members organized a baking class in the kitchen.

        西方语言与西式糕点的完美结合，让同学们在烘焙上大显身手的同时，也加强了英语口语的运用。在这里，英语不再“难顶”，还可以完美邂逅美食，“国际厨房”欢乐多！

       The perfect combination of Western language and Western pastry provides a good opportunity to show their skills in baking and also strengthened the practical use of spoken English. In the kitchen, English learning is no longer “a kind of difficulty”, but also a perfect encounter with food.Students benefited a lot from this“international kitchen”.

【寓教于乐，玩学合一】

        本次烘焙课活动由外教Lee主持，全程英语交流，以情景式、浸入式教学，让同学们学会厨房里的厨具和烘焙的相关英文用语，在真实生活环境中磨一磨英语口语和听力。不得不说，在实战现场，语言真的完全不是障碍了。

        The baking class was hosted by foreign teacher Lee. The entire process was in English,which was conducted in a situational and immersional style. Students learned the kitchen utensils and the relevant English language of baking. Language is really no longer an obstacle at all.

        在此不得不为Lee老师点赞一下，他极其认真地设计、准备和组织课堂，每个步骤里都有讲解、示范和小组实操。如果你在现场，就会感受到这一堂课本身就如同一道美食，令人回味。在老师的指导下，同学们体验了从最初的认识工具，到后来的等待成品，整个过程里充满了浓香和欢乐。

        Here we would like to show my appreciation for Mr. Lee. He was extremely careful to design, prepare and organize the class. There were detailed explanations, practical training, and group exercises in each step. If you were there, you would feel that the professional procedure of the class itself was just like a kind of delicious food. Under the guidance of the teacher, the students experienced from the initial understanding of the tools to the later waiting for the finished product, and the entire process was full of thick fragrance and joy.

本次上课的老师Lee吧~

Let's get to know Lee.

        Lee来自英国，有21年教师、教务长和校长的工作经验，英国教育部职业教育改革委员会核心专家小组成员，曾获得英国文化协会的灯塔奖（此奖项代表了英国教育教学管理水平最高奖）

        目前Lee正在参与负责中国教育部批准的“鲁班工坊”项目的课程设计和学习资源开发。因为大学专业和个人爱好原因，他本人也是一位专业的法餐大师，曾经为英国女王和查尔斯王子制作法餐哦！惊不惊喜，意不意外~

        He is a teacher from the United Kingdom, who has had 21 years of work experience as a teacher, Dean, and principal. He is a member of the core expert group of the Vocational Education Reform Commission of the Ministry of Education. He received the Lighthouse Award from the British Council(this award represents the highest level of education and teaching management in the UK).
Lee is currently involved in the curriculum design and learning resource development of the “Luban Workshop” project approved by the Chinese Ministry of Education. Because of his university major and personal interests, he is also a professional French meal chef. He used to make French meals for the Queen of England and Prince Charles! Surprising and surprised?

        欢乐的时光总是过得飞快，还没来得及细细回味，这节课就已接近尾声。作为即将出国留学的同学们来说，学习英语和掌握生活技能都是必不可少的生存法宝。大家在这堂“能吃会说”的英语烘焙课上，既体验了做美食的快乐，也体验了学习英语带来的乐趣，完美践行了“吃货”与“学习者”的身份结合。

        The happy hours always passed by quickly, and the lesson came to an end before it had time to savor it. As the students who are going to study abroad, learning English and mastering life skills are just like their indispensable survival magic weapon. In this “could either eat and talk” English baking class, they experienced not only the joy of cooking, but also the joy of learning English.

        听说秋天就像暗恋，早晚都会凉！但在中英班里，我们做终身学习者和专业吃货的热情让这个秋天不再凉凉~

        It is said that fall is like a secret love, sooner or later it will be cold! But in our group, our enthusiasm for being life-long learners and professional food-lovers has made this fall warmer.
